THE PLASTEK GROUP is seeking a Quality Inspector for the Hamlet, NC Manufacturing Division. This facility performs plastic injection molding and component assembly. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to work for a secure, progressive, and technologically advanced company.Quality Inspector Position Attributes and Requirements:<ul><li>Demonstrated understanding of principles for product and process quality evaluation and control.</li><li>Excellent communication skills both written and oral.</li><li>Customer focused (internal and external).</li><li>Ability to use metrology and statistical methods to diagnose and correct improper quality control practices.</li><li>Develop, apply, analyze, and test inspection procedures.</li><li>Corrective and preventive action analysis through team approach.</li><li>Participate in TPM and other process improvement activities.</li></ul>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Customer Requirements and Approvals of new and existing products and processes.</li><li>Ability to assist and interact with customers for product launch and new initiatives as required.</li><li>Product Development and Correlation Studies.</li><li>Drawings and Engineering Change Notifications.</li><li>Inspection Control Plans &ndash; Development and Implementation.</li><li>Develop Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.</li><li>Test Methods, Gaging and Measurement &ndash; Develop new and revise existing, as needed.</li><li>Data Collection and Justification for Deviations and Waivers.</li><li>Train and motivate employees in Statistical Process Control, TAMU, and other quality tools as needed.</li><li>Provide leadership and direction for Lab Technicians as required.</li></ul>Education &amp; Experience:<ul><li>2 years in Quality Assurance or Inspection preferred</li><li>Degree preferred and plus plastic injection molding experience with an understanding of related inspection, quality assurance, and quality management systems preferred.</li><li>Quality Engineering Certification preferred.</li></ul>*We offer an excellent opportunity to work for a world-class multi-national manufacturing company with a competitive salary &amp; benefits package.Paid Vacation and HolidaysMedical/RxFREE Dental Vision Life InsuranceDisability 401(k) 401(k) Match#INDLPJob Type: Full-timePay: From $15.50 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>The Plastek Group works 12 hour shifts year round.
