We are looking for an experienced Pool Technician (with a strong REPAIR/INSTALL) background, Who has at least 5 years experience with Pool Equipment Installations and Repairs.Job Description - Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Pool Technician with a Repair/Install focus to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pool maintenance, repair, and installation, as well as proficiency in using industry-related apps and software to streamline operations and improve customer service.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Diagnose and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and plumbing systems.</li><li>Install new pool equipment and accessories as needed.</li><li>Utilize industry-specific software and apps for scheduling, inventory management, and service documentation.</li><li>Communicate effectively with clients to explain maintenance procedures, repair needs, and usage of pool technology.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used through digital platforms.</li><li>Stay updated with the latest pool technology and software advancements to provide cutting-edge service.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations related to pool maintenance and repair.</li><li>Perform routine pool maintenance, including cleaning, water chemistry testing and balancing, filter and pump maintenance, and inspections.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications preferred.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience as a pool technician or in a related field.</li><li>Proficiency in using industry-related software and mobile apps for service management (e.g., Pool Service Software, Skimmer, PoolOps).</li><li>Strong understanding of pool water chemistry and pool equipment.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.</li><li>Strong communication and customer service skills.</li><li>Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.</li><li>Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy equipment and working outdoors in various weather conditions.</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Competitive salary based on experience.</li><li>Paid time off and holidays.</li><li>Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.</li><li>Company-provided vehicle and tools.</li><li>Opportunities for career advancement within the company.</li></ul>How to Apply: Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume and a cover letter detailing their relevant experience and software proficiency to thepooldoctorbooks@gmail.com.
