Pool Technician

At The Pool Doctor, we are dedicated to providing high quality pool maintenance and repair services to our clients. We are looking for an experienced Pool Technician (with a strong REPAIR/INSTALL) background, Who has at least 5 years experience with Pool Equipment Installations and Repairs.

Job Description -

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Pool Technician with a Repair/Install focus to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pool maintenance, repair, and installation, as well as proficiency in using industry-related apps and software to streamline operations and improve customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and plumbing systems.
  • Install new pool equipment and accessories as needed.
  • Utilize industry-specific software and apps for scheduling, inventory management, and service documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to explain maintenance procedures, repair needs, and usage of pool technology.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used through digital platforms.
  • Stay updated with the latest pool technology and software advancements to provide cutting-edge service.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations related to pool maintenance and repair.
  • Perform routine pool maintenance, including cleaning, water chemistry testing and balancing, filter and pump maintenance, and inspections.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a pool technician or in a related field.
  • Proficiency in using industry-related software and mobile apps for service management (e.g., Pool Service Software, Skimmer, PoolOps).
  • Strong understanding of pool water chemistry and pool equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy equipment and working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
