Join our dynamic team as a General Laborer specializing in Inground Pool Installation! This energetic role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced construction environment, where your hands-on skills and attention to detail will help bring beautiful, custom pools to life. As a vital member of our installation crew, you’ll work outdoors and collaborate with experienced professionals to deliver top-quality results that exceed client expectations. This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their construction expertise and contribute to a rewarding project. This is a seasonal position from April through October. We are looking for a long term employee. No weekends or holidays!
Responsibilities
- Assist with the excavation, framing, and pouring of concrete for pool structures, ensuring precise measurements and quality standards.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to prepare sites and install pool components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to support accurate installation processes.
- Perform site inspections, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and project specifications throughout each phase of construction.
- Support plumbing, electrical, and plastering tasks related to inground pool systems under supervision.
- Fabricate and install various materials such as concrete forms, stucco, trim carpentry elements, and masonry features.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite by removing debris, securing tools, and ensuring safety measures are consistently followed.
- Opening pools in the springtime and closing pools in the fall.
Requirements
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades such as carpentry, masonry, or landscaping is preferred.
- Familiarity with construction management practices, estimating procedures, and inspection processes is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, concrete finishing, tile laying, roofing, or restoration work is advantageous.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
