This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your food industry skills while working in a vibrant environment.Duties<ul><li>Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit</li><li>Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS</li><li>Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards</li><li>Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities</li><li>Manage guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, and feedback professionally</li><li>Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling and serving</li><li>Assist with bussing tables, resetting stations, and supporting kitchen staff when needed</li><li>Utilize reservation systems like OpenTable to manage bookings efficiently in fine dining settings</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including table setups, silverware, and beverage stations</li><li>Handle cash transactions accurately with cash handling skills and basic math proficiency</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Extensive experience with food service operations in restaurants or nightlife venues such as nightclubs</li><li>Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures</li><li>Strong culinary knowledge complemented by food preparation skills and understanding of food safety protocols</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence</li><li>Ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced environments while multitasking seamlessly</li><li>Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities without compromising guest experience</li><li>Knowledge of sanitation standards, food handling procedures, and kitchen operations</li><li>Previous host/hostess or serving experience in fine dining or high-volume settings preferred</li><li>Basic math skills for accurate check processing and cash handling responsibilities</li><li>Familiarity with nightclub or bar service environments is a plus</li></ul>Embark on a rewarding career where your enthusiasm makes every guest&rsquo;s visit extraordinary!
