We are seeking an energetic and dynamic individual to join our team as a Bartender/Manager. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Manage day-to-day bar operations, including inventory control, cash handling, and POS transactions using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and addressing any concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Oversee the team of bartenders and service staff, assigning duties efficiently while maintaining a lively and organized work environment.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations; handle food properly during service in fine dining or banquet settings.
- Manage night club or banquet events by coordinating catering services, serving guests professionally, and ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Utilize strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously while maintaining high-quality service levels.
Skills
- Proven experience in food industry roles such as restaurant, retail math, or food service environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing busy service periods efficiently.
- Strong leadership qualities with experience supervising staff in hospitality settings like bars or banquet halls.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling techniques, and beverage preparation methods including brewing or bartending certifications preferred.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours; ability to multitask seamlessly in fast-paced environments.
