Job Summary We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to join our dynamic marketing team. This paid internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation. The ideal candidate will assist in developing engaging online content, analyzing social media metrics, and supporting brand growth across various platforms. This role is perfect for someone passionate about social media trends, digital marketing strategies, and visual storytelling.Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn</li><li>Assist in managing social media calendars and scheduling posts using tools like Hootsuite or Buffer</li><li>Monitor social listening channels to gather insights on audience engagement and brand perception</li><li>Create visually appealing graphics and videos using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite</li><li>Support SEO efforts through keyword research and content optimization to increase online visibility</li><li>Conduct web analytics using Google Analytics and other tools to evaluate campaign performance</li><li>Collaborate with the team on branding initiatives and public relations activities</li><li>Assist in managing Facebook Advertising campaigns and other paid promotions</li><li>Proofread all content for accuracy, branding consistency, and quality assurance</li><li>Engage with followers to foster relationships and enhance community engagement</li><li>Support e-commerce initiatives by creating compelling product visuals and descriptions</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous experience or coursework in social media marketing, digital marketing, or related fields is preferred but not required</li><li>Familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer</li><li>Basic graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or similar software</li><li>Knowledge of SEO best practices, web analytics (Google Analytics), and keyword research techniques</li><li>Experience with video editing and photography is a plus</li><li>Strong written communication skills with attention to detail in proofreading and content creation</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment</li><li>Passion for staying updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices</li></ul>Job Types: Part-time, InternshipPay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hourExpected hours: 10 &ndash; 20 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Madison, WI 53703
