Social Media Intern

Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to join our dynamic marketing team. Responsibilities

• Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
• Assist in managing social media calendars and scheduling posts using tools like Hootsuite or Buffer
• Monitor social listening channels to gather insights on audience engagement and brand perception
• Create visually appealing graphics and videos using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Support SEO efforts through keyword research and content optimization to increase online visibility
• Conduct web analytics using Google Analytics and other tools to evaluate campaign performance
• Collaborate with the team on branding initiatives and public relations activities
• Assist in managing Facebook Advertising campaigns and other paid promotions
• Proofread all content for accuracy, branding consistency, and quality assurance
• Engage with followers to foster relationships and enhance community engagement
• Support e-commerce initiatives by creating compelling product visuals and descriptions

Experience

• Previous experience or coursework in social media marketing, digital marketing, or related fields is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer
• Basic graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or similar software
• Knowledge of SEO best practices, web analytics (Google Analytics), and keyword research techniques
• Experience with video editing and photography is a plus
• Strong written communication skills with attention to detail in proofreading and content creation
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Passion for staying updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices

Job Types: Part-time, Internship

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
