We are looking for a responsible, experienced, and highly organized Accounting Team Lead / Controller to manage and supervise our accounting team.This is not a basic bookkeeping position. This is a leadership and accountability role. The selected candidate will be responsible for making sure the accounting team completes daily reports, reconciliations, QuickBooks entries, bank matching, deposit reports, vendor bills, and store-level accounting work accurately and on time.Job TitleAccounting Team Lead / Controller &ndash; QuickBooks &amp; US Business AccountingWork ScheduleSalaryPKR 180,000 &ndash; 250,000 per month, based on experience, skill level, and performance.Higher compensation may be considered for an exceptional candidate with strong QuickBooks, reconciliation, leadership, and U.S. business accounting experience.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead and supervise the accounting team</li><li>Leadership skills are necessary </li><li>Ensure all daily deposit reports are completed accurately and on time</li><li>Review store sales reports, deposit reports, bank deposits, credit card batches, fuel reports, lottery reports, and other daily accounting reports</li><li>Perform and review bank reconciliations</li><li>Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks</li><li>Review vendor bills, payments, and account balances</li><li>Track missing reports, late reports, shortages, and accounting errors</li><li>Follow up with staff and store managers when documents or reports are missing</li><li>Prepare daily and weekly accounting status updates for ownership</li><li>Help prepare monthly store-level reports and profit/loss information</li><li>Make sure accounting deadlines are met without repeated reminders</li><li>Identify mistakes, discrepancies, and unusual activity</li><li>Create systems and checklists to improve accounting accuracy</li><li>Train and guide junior accountants</li><li>Report directly to ownership and management</li></ul>Required Skills<ul><li>Strong QuickBooks experience</li><li>Strong bank reconciliation experience</li><li>Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills</li><li>Experience reviewing daily deposits, sales reports, or business transactions</li><li>Ability to manage and supervise other accountants</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication</li><li>Ability to meet strict daily deadlines</li><li>Ability to follow up firmly and professionally</li><li>Ability to work independently without constant supervision</li><li>Honest, punctual, organized, and responsible</li></ul>Preferred Experience<ul><li>Experience with U.S.-based businesses</li><li>Experience with multi-location retail businesses</li><li>Experience with gas stations, convenience stores, restaurants, retail stores, or franchise businesses</li><li>Experience managing an accounting team</li><li>Experience preparing daily dashboards or management reports</li><li>Experience with accounts payable, payroll support, vendor reconciliation, and monthly closing work</li></ul>Candidate Must Be<ul><li>Punctual</li><li>Detail-oriented</li><li>Responsible</li><li>Comfortable being held accountable</li><li>Comfortable managing deadlines</li><li>Able to lead a team, not just complete assigned tasks</li><li>Able to identify problems and report them clearly</li><li>Able to work U.S. Eastern Time hours</li></ul>Interview ProcessShortlisted candidates may be asked to complete a practical accounting/reconciliation test before final selection.Job TypeFull-timeScheduleMonday to Friday 9:00 AM &ndash; 5:00 PM Eastern Time (New York Time)Saturday Half DayPay: Rs180,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
