Company Overview
We are a growing U.S.-based gas station and convenience store group with multiple locations. We are looking for a responsible, experienced, and highly organized Accounting Team Lead / Controller to manage and supervise our accounting team.
This is not a basic bookkeeping position. This is a leadership and accountability role. The selected candidate will be responsible for making sure the accounting team completes daily reports, reconciliations, QuickBooks entries, bank matching, deposit reports, vendor bills, and store-level accounting work accurately and on time.

Work Schedule
Salary
PKR 180,000 – 250,000 per month, based on experience, skill level, and performance.
Higher compensation may be considered for an exceptional candidate with strong QuickBooks, reconciliation, leadership, and U.S. business accounting experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the accounting team
- Leadership skills are necessary
- Ensure all daily deposit reports are completed accurately and on time
- Review store sales reports, deposit reports, bank deposits, credit card batches, fuel reports, lottery reports, and other daily accounting reports
- Perform and review bank reconciliations
- Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks
- Review vendor bills, payments, and account balances
- Track missing reports, late reports, shortages, and accounting errors
- Follow up with staff and store managers when documents or reports are missing
- Prepare daily and weekly accounting status updates for ownership
- Help prepare monthly store-level reports and profit/loss information
- Make sure accounting deadlines are met without repeated reminders
- Identify mistakes, discrepancies, and unusual activity
- Create systems and checklists to improve accounting accuracy
- Train and guide junior accountants
- Report directly to ownership and management
Required Skills
- Strong QuickBooks experience
- Strong bank reconciliation experience
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
- Experience reviewing daily deposits, sales reports, or business transactions
- Ability to manage and supervise other accountants
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to meet strict daily deadlines
- Ability to follow up firmly and professionally
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Honest, punctual, organized, and responsible
Preferred Experience
- Experience with U.S.-based businesses
- Experience with multi-location retail businesses
- Experience with gas stations, convenience stores, restaurants, retail stores, or franchise businesses
- Experience managing an accounting team
- Experience preparing daily dashboards or management reports
- Experience with accounts payable, payroll support, vendor reconciliation, and monthly closing work
