<div><b>About Us: </b>The Shirley Aninias School is a private, 12-month behavior-based elementary program serving neurodiverse students ages 4&ndash;13. We create highly individualized programs that address each child&rsquo;s academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs. </div><div><b>Position Overview:</b> The BCBA , under the direction of the Clinical Director, will lead the design, implementation, and oversight of behavior intervention strategies school-wide, ensuring all interventions are evidence-based, data-driven, and responsive to individual student needs. The BCBA will provide direct training, support, and coaching to instructional staff. This is a 12-month, full-time position.</div>
<div><b>Key Responsibilities:</b><br>
</div><ul><li>Behavioral Program Development &amp; Oversight<ul>
<li>Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).</li>
<li>Ensure behavior plans are consistent with student goals and are implemented with fidelity across settings.</li>
<li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate behavioral goals into academic and social-emotional programming.</li>
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, revising as necessary.<br>

</li></ul></li><li>Supervision &amp; Staff Training<ul>
<li>Provide ongoing supervision, training, and mentorship to Behavior Interventionists and instructional staff.</li>
<li>Model appropriate behavioral interventions and de-escalation strategies in classroom settings.</li>
<li>Maintain instructor certification in Safety-Care &trade; and/or other school designated crisis prevention programs.</li>
<li>Regularly monitor crisis responses and assess staff proficiency in de-escalation/crisis prevention techniques and provide feedback.<ul><li>
Determine if additional or re-training is required.</li></ul>
</li>Offer constructive feedback and facilitate skill-building opportunities for team members.<br>

</li></ul></li><li>Data Collection &amp; Analysis<ul>
<li>Supervise accurate data collection procedures and ensure consistent tracking of student behavior.</li>
<li>Guide staff in using the School&rsquo;s CR LiftED data platform; assist in training and troubleshooting as needed.</li>
Analyze data regularly to inform decisions and adjustments to intervention plans.<br>

</li></ul></li><li>Crisis Intervention &amp; Support<ul>
<li>Coordinate the school&rsquo;s crisis response team and oversee safety protocols during behavioral emergencies.</li>
Provide on-site support during crisis events and conduct post-incident reviews to improve future responses.<br>

</li></ul></li><li>Family &amp; Team Collaboration<ul>
<li>Communicate effectively with families about behavior support strategies and student progress.</li>
<li>Participate in IEP meetings and other planning sessions as needed.</li>
<li>Partner with the Assistant Principal to align behavioral practices with school-wide expectations.</li>
<li>Participate in school management meetings as required.</li>

<b>Physical Requirements and Essential Functions:</b><br>
</div><ul><li>Must be able to physically assist and de-escalate students using school-approved techniques (training provided).</li>
<li>Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver classroom furniture and equipment.</li>
<li>Maintain constant visual and auditory supervision of students.</li>
<li>Support students during transitions and physical activities, including running, kneeling, and sitting on the floor.</li>
Must have or obtain First Aid/CPR certification.<br>

<b>Qualifications:</b><br>
</div><ul><li>Required: Master&rsquo;s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.</li>
<li>Required: Current BCBA certification in good standing.</li>
<li>Minimum 3 years of experience working in a school or clinical setting with neurodiverse populations.</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, coach, and support diverse teams.</li>
<li>Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills.</li>
<li>Flexible, compassionate, and passionate about student-centered practices.</li>
Desired: Completion of 8-hour BCBA supervision course.<br>
