We are now looking to expand and are seeking a focused, driven, and passionate Aesthetician to join us, with an initial focus on being our go-to Hydrafacialist!The ideal candidate would be enthusiastic about being an integral part of providing each patient the amazing experience Skin + Aesthetics has come to be known for and will have a passion for all things skincare and skin heath, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.Please note that this role would be primarily responsible for supporting our clinical provider(s), but may also be cross-trained for front desk duties if needed during vacations or sickness, although this would be a rare occasion, as we have a full time clinic manager.Qualities we look for in our team-<ul><li>Passion for providing a professional and personalized experience to our patients</li><li>Forward-thinking attitude that looks for ways to increasingly improve patient experience</li><li>Zest for expanding knowledge and experience</li><li>Working with confidence and humility in a team environment</li><li>Professional and friendly communication with team members and patients</li><li>Superior attention to details</li></ul>Position Duties:<ul><li>Creating trusting relationships with our patients</li><li>Holding HIPPA and patient privacy to the highest regard</li><li>Greeting patients in a friendly and professional manner</li><li>Obtaining accurate and consistent photos of patients before and after their treatment</li><li>Performing Hydrafacials initially, with the option to grow and add various chemical peels, facials, dermaplaning, and other skin treatments as designated by our provider</li><li>Assisting staff in all day-to-day operations as needed</li><li>Functioning well as part of a team</li><li>Focus on professional presentation and excellent communication skills</li></ul>Additional tasks that may be assigned after experience include-<ul><li>Administering microneedling (depending on experience and licensure)</li><li>Administering laser treatments (depending on experience and licensure)</li><li>Taking patient phone calls regarding medical conditions, results, or questions, which would entail relaying the information to the provider(s) as appropriate and documenting communication in the medical record</li><li>Assisting with scheduling return appointments and answering telephones when the Patient Care Coordinator or Clinic Manager are unavailable</li><li>Maintaining equipment including instruments and autoclave, cleaning and sterilizing instruments, and keeping adequate instruments available</li><li>Disposing of hazardous waste at the end of each day according to policy</li><li>Performing other duties or projects as requested by the Clinic Manager or Provider to ensure the smooth operation of the office</li></ul>Qualifications:+ High School diploma/GED or equivalent+ Valid state license as an aesthetician+ Proven experience working in a dermatology, plastic surgery, or skincare clinic preferred+ Strong knowledge of skincare treatments and products+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment+ Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene+ Strong organizational and time management skills+ Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations+ Excellent work ethic and positive attitude+ Extraordinary customer service abilities+ Superior communication skills+ ReliabilityBenefits:+ Competitive salary+ Professional development opportunities (including on the job training, continuing education, academic conferences, certifications, etc)+ Employee discounts on products and services+ Clinic team building activities (quarterly)+ Yearly clinic retreat+ Bonus structure+ Flexible scheduleWe are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
