About Us:

The mission of Skin + Aesthetics is to ensure our patients feel seen, valued, and heard in a welcoming and professional atmosphere focused on real results. Our team consists of our owner and provider that has over fourteen years of experience and our aesthetician that brings a decade of experience. We are now looking to expand and are seeking a focused, driven, and passionate Aesthetician to join us, with an initial focus on being our go-to Hydrafacialist!

The ideal candidate would be enthusiastic about being an integral part of providing each patient the amazing experience Skin + Aesthetics has come to be known for and will have a passion for all things skincare and skin heath, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Please note that this role would be primarily responsible for supporting our clinical provider(s), but may also be cross-trained for front desk duties if needed during vacations or sickness, although this would be a rare occasion, as we have a full time clinic manager.

Position Duties:

• Creating trusting relationships with our patients
• Holding HIPPA and patient privacy to the highest regard
• Greeting patients in a friendly and professional manner
• Obtaining accurate and consistent photos of patients before and after their treatment
• Performing Hydrafacials initially, with the option to grow and add various chemical peels, facials, dermaplaning, and other skin treatments as designated by our provider
• Assisting staff in all day-to-day operations as needed
• Functioning well as part of a team
• Focus on professional presentation and excellent communication skills

Additional tasks that may be assigned after experience include-

• Administering microneedling (depending on experience and licensure)
• Administering laser treatments (depending on experience and licensure)
• Taking patient phone calls regarding medical conditions, results, or questions, which would entail relaying the information to the provider(s) as appropriate and documenting communication in the medical record
• Assisting with scheduling return appointments and answering telephones when the Patient Care Coordinator or Clinic Manager are unavailable
• Maintaining equipment including instruments and autoclave, cleaning and sterilizing instruments, and keeping adequate instruments available
• Disposing of hazardous waste at the end of each day according to policy
• Performing other duties or projects as requested by the Clinic Manager or Provider to ensure the smooth operation of the office

Qualifications:

+ High School diploma/GED or equivalent

+ Valid state license as an aesthetician

+ Proven experience working in a dermatology, plastic surgery, or skincare clinic preferred

+ Strong knowledge of skincare treatments and products

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

+ Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene

+ Strong organizational and time management skills

+ Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
