You&rsquo;ll guide the FOH team, keep service on track, solve problems quickly, and help maintain the warm, polished feel that makes Stilt House a local favorite. With a focus on steady operations, team development, and guest satisfaction, this position offers a chance to have a real impact on the restaurant&rsquo;s daily rhythm.What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>Oversee daily front-of-house operations, including servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff.</li><li>Lead pre-shift meetings, communicate specials, and set expectations for service.</li><li>Maintain high service standards by coaching staff and modeling guest-first behavior.</li><li>Manage floor flow, guest seating, and staffing adjustments during busy shifts.</li><li>Handle guest concerns calmly and professionally, resolving issues on the spot.</li><li>Help with interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing staff development.</li><li>Monitor checkouts, comp/void reports, and basic cash handling procedures.</li><li>Coordinate with the kitchen to keep communication smooth and service running efficiently.</li><li>Assist with scheduling and labor control based on forecasted business needs.</li><li>Support bar and service training, including menu knowledge, beer/wine familiarity, and service steps.</li><li>Work with leadership on improving systems, service consistency, and overall guest experience.</li></ul>What We're Looking For<ul><li>FOH management experience in a restaurant, bar, or gastropub environment.</li><li>Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, supportive approach.</li><li>Ability to coach, motivate, and hold staff accountable.</li><li>Clear communication and steady decision-making during high-volume periods.</li><li>Reliable, organized, and comfortable managing both people and daily operations.</li><li>Familiarity with scheduling, training, and basic administrative work.</li><li>Flexibility with evenings, weekends, and peak seasonal periods.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Work Location: In person
