The Hostess is the first and last impression of the restaurant experience. This role welcomes guests with warmth and professionalism, manages reservations and seating flow, and ensures each guest&rsquo;s arrival and departure are seamless. The ideal candidate is poised, polished, and thrives in a refined yet relaxed atmosphere.Requirements:<ul><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills; poised under pressure.</li><li>Well-groomed, polished appearance appropriate for a refined dining environment.</li><li>Knowledge of reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable, Resy, SevenRooms) is preferred.</li><li>Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced setting.</li><li>Must be available for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.</li></ul>Duties:<ul><li>Greet guests warmly and sincerely upon arrival, maintaining a gracious and inviting demeanor.</li><li>Manage reservations through the restaurant&rsquo;s booking system; coordinate with servers and management to optimize table flow and pacing.</li><li>Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and provide brief information about the dining concept or specials when appropriate.</li><li>Anticipate and respond to guest needs, including special requests and seating preferences.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and stylish host stand and entrance area.</li><li>Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and management to ensure smooth transitions during service.</li><li>Handle phone inquiries regarding reservations, menus, dress recommendations, and hours of operation.</li><li>Monitor waitlists during peak times and provide accurate wait estimates.</li><li>Thank guests upon departure and invite them to return, ensuring a memorable final impression.</li><li>Support service staff with light duties as needed (folding menus, refilling water, assisting with table resets).</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>Graceful and confident presence; natural sense of hospitality.</li><li>Bilingual or conversational French is a plus.</li><li>Passion for fine food, wine, and guest experience.</li><li>Team-oriented with a proactive and positive attitude.</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timeWork Location: In person
