The Bartender crafts exceptional cocktails, curates memorable guest experiences, and embodies the spirit of warm, refined hospitality. This role combines technical mixology skill with a storyteller’s touch—bringing to life both classic and contemporary drinks that complement the restaurant’s French-American cuisine and speakeasy ambiance.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an upscale or craft-cocktail bar, fine dining, or speakeasy environment.
- Advanced knowledge of classic and modern mixology, spirits, and wine service.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to read the room and tailor the experience.
- Ability to multitask and remain composed during high-volume service.
- Valid Alcohol Awareness (TAM, ServSafe, or equivalent) certification required.
- Availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and artistry.
- Maintain full knowledge of all bar offerings, including spirits, wine list, and featured cocktails.
- Engage guests with genuine hospitality—welcoming, conversing, and recommending beverages tailored to their preferences.
- Develop and execute seasonal cocktail lists in collaboration with management.
- Uphold all recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines to ensure consistency.
- Manage bar mise en place: garnish prep, glassware, ice, syrups, and infusions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Monitor guest consumption and ensure responsible alcohol service.
- Assist in inventory control, restocking, and ordering of bar supplies.
- Support floor service when needed, including table-side cocktail presentations for premium experiences.
- Handle cash and POS transactions accurately and efficiently.
