Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team. As an Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in the initial phase of our new accounting support services for automotive and tire shops. You will work closely with an experienced FCCA/CPA, gaining invaluable industry knowledge while providing essential bookkeeping, accounting, and reporting functions for our pilot client locations. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the foundational success of a new service offering and shape its future expansion.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.</li><li>Prepare financial statements, including profit &amp; loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.</li><li>Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements.</li><li>Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.</li><li>Analyze financial data and provide insightful reports to management.</li><li>Collaborate with the FCCA/CPA partner to understand the specific accounting nuances of the automotive and tire shop industry.</li><li>Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.</li><li>Contribute to the development of efficient accounting processes and best practices.</li><li>Gain a foundational understanding of taxation principles relevant to small businesses.</li><li>Participate in the second phase of the project, which involves leveraging pilot learnings to develop and transition accounting processes for a wider market service offering.</li><li>Also responsible for internal bookkeeping/accounting</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>ACCA Qualified, Affiliate, or Part-Qualified (with at least 9 exams passed).</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting preferred.</li><li>Minimum 3 years of accounting work experience, with at least 1 year experience with US clients.</li><li>Proven experience in bookkeeping and general accounting functions.</li><li>Solid understanding of financial statements and reporting.</li><li>Basic understanding of tax principles.</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Adaptable and open to learning new industry-specific processes.</li></ul>What This Role Offers:<ul><li>Market competitive salary and benefits.</li><li>The opportunity to be a foundational member of a new and exciting service line.</li><li>Direct mentorship from an experienced FCCA/CPA.</li><li>Exposure to the unique financial landscape of the automotive and tire shop industry.</li></ul>Location: DHA Phase 8, LahoreTimings: 05:00 PM to 02:00 AM (Monday to Friday)Preference will be given to immediate joiners.Job Type: Full-timePay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs100,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
