Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team. As an Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in the initial phase of our new accounting support services for automotive and tire shops. You will work closely with an experienced FCCA/CPA, gaining invaluable industry knowledge while providing essential bookkeeping, accounting, and reporting functions for our pilot client locations. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the foundational success of a new service offering and shape its future expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare financial statements, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Analyze financial data and provide insightful reports to management.
- Collaborate with the FCCA/CPA partner to understand the specific accounting nuances of the automotive and tire shop industry.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Contribute to the development of efficient accounting processes and best practices.
- Gain a foundational understanding of taxation principles relevant to small businesses.
- Participate in the second phase of the project, which involves leveraging pilot learnings to develop and transition accounting processes for a wider market service offering.
- Also responsible for internal bookkeeping/accounting
Qualifications:
- ACCA Qualified, Affiliate, or Part-Qualified (with at least 9 exams passed).
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting work experience, with at least 1 year experience with US clients.
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and general accounting functions.
- Solid understanding of financial statements and reporting.
- Basic understanding of tax principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptable and open to learning new industry-specific processes.

Timings: 05:00 PM to 02:00 AM (Monday to Friday)
Preference will be given to immediate joiners.
