Job description:Job SummaryThe Care Staff / Caregiver provides compassionate, hands-on support to elderly clients, assisting with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, and emotional well-being. The role ensures safety, dignity, and comfort while following care plans and company standards.Key Responsibilities Personal Care<ul><li>Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.</li><li>Support mobility and transfers using safe handling techniques.</li><li>Help with continence care and hygiene maintenance.</li></ul>Daily Living Support<ul><li>Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration.</li><li>Support with medication reminders (not administration unless trained/authorized).</li><li>Help with light housekeeping such as bed-making, laundry, and room organization.</li><li>Accompany clients for walks, activities, or medical appointments.</li></ul>Health Monitoring<ul><li>Observe and report changes in physical or emotional condition.</li><li>Check and record vital signs if trained and required.</li><li>Alert the supervisor/nurse about emergencies or unusual symptoms.</li></ul>Emotional &amp; Social Support<ul><li>Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction.</li><li>Engage clients in activities that promote mental stimulation and well-being.</li><li>Encourage independence while ensuring safety.</li></ul>Safety &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Follow care plans and standard operating procedures.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and infection-control practices.</li><li>Document care activities accurately and on time.</li><li>Ensure a safe environment and report hazards immediately.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Caregiver/ elder-care training or certification preferred.</li><li>Previous experience in elderly care, home care, or assisted living (preferred).</li><li>Ability to handle physical tasks (lifting, assisting movement).</li><li>Good communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Patience, empathy, and a caring attitude toward elderly persons.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Knowledge of basic elder-care techniques.</li><li>Ability to follow instructions and care plans.</li><li>Observation and reporting skills.</li><li>Time management and reliability.</li><li>Basic first aid knowledge (preferred).</li></ul>Working Conditions<ul><li>May require shift work, including weekends and holidays.</li><li>Work may involve home visits or facility-based care.</li><li>Physically demanding tasks such as lifting and assisting mobility.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;15,000.00 - &#8377;21,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Ability to commute/relocate:<ul><li>Vile Parle, Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Patient care: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Shift availability:<ul><li>Day Shift (Preferred)</li><li>Night Shift (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
