<div><ul><li>Analyzes, inputs and prepares payroll data via automated system to produce accurate and timely payroll (weekly &amp; bi-weekly). Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.</li><li>
Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports (gross payroll, hours worked, vacation accrual, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc.) for management.</li><li>
Performs various journal entries, account reconciliations and provides general ledger support.</li><li>
Maintains current knowledge of applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.</li><li>
Stays current on payroll systems to achieve alignment with HR benefits and other related items.</li><li>
Provides effective accounting support for payroll related matters.</li><li>
Facilitates management and employee understanding of payroll procedures.</li><li>
Performs benefit administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, and communicating benefit information to employees.</li><li>
Files EEO-1 and VETS 100 reports annually; maintains other records, reports and logs pertaining to applicant flow procedures.</li><li>
Represents the company for unemployment and workers compensation claims.</li><li>
Assists in organizational training and development efforts.</li><li>
Assists in administration of compensation programs; helps monitor performance appraisal process.</li><li>
Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.</li><li>
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.</li></ul> 


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of payroll, human resources, effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and computer proficiency. Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality. 


EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

1. An Associate&rsquo;s Degree and/or Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Business or Human Resources, or

2. Three to Five years&rsquo; experience in Payroll and/or Human Resources

3. Any similar combination of education and experience.
