Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into reality! This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial renovations to new builds, utilizing your hands-on skills and enthusiasm for construction. As a Construction Laborer, you will assist skilled tradespeople in executing high-quality work while gaining valuable experience across various aspects of construction. This paid position is designed to challenge and develop your abilities, ensuring every day is productive and rewarding.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist with the installation of rebar, formwork, and concrete finishing to ensure structural integrity and quality standards.</li><li>Operate power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and concrete pumps safely and efficiently on-site.</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to support accurate project execution.</li><li>Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks such as material transport, site cleanup, and debris removal.</li><li>Contribute to masonry work including stucco, tile laying, flooring installation, and plastering to enhance building aesthetics.</li><li>Support framing carpentry, metal stud framing, roofing, and trim carpentry activities for diverse construction projects.</li><li>Follow safety protocols diligently while working with concrete mixers, scaffolding, caulking tools, and other specialized equipment.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior construction site experience or related hands-on work in renovation or restoration projects is highly preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to read blueprints or schematics is advantageous.</li><li>Familiarity with heavy equipment operation such as forklifts or cranes adds value to your application.</li><li>Basic understanding of mechanical systems, masonry techniques, welding practices, and roofing methods is a plus.</li><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in tasks like tile laying or concrete finishing.</li><li>Valid commercial driver&rsquo;s license (CDL) or experience with commercial driving can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
