Schedule will be mostly weekday hours, and will include some evenings, weekends and two holiday shifts per year .Compensation includes a differential to be paid for evening, weekend and holiday hours worked.New grads will be considered!Compensation includes a full benefits package to staff working a minimum of 28 hours per week.If you are passionate about working with a pediatric population and their families, we are looking forward to hearing from you! Please - no phone calls.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Running point of care lab tests</li><li>Rooming patients and cleaning rooms</li><li>Assist or perform procedures (e.g. ECGs, PFTs, immunizations, etc.)</li><li>Answering lab questions, phone calls and communication with patients, parents and co-workers</li><li>Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record</li><li>Ordering and stocking medical supplies and vaccine inventory</li><li>Serve as a mentor and resource to others</li><li>Work independently within their scope of practice to achieve clinical outcomes</li><li>Maintain a level of professional development through continuing education, quality improvement initiatives and sharing of knowledge</li></ul>JOB REQUIREMENTS<ul><li>Education: Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program</li><li>Certification as Medical Assistant in the state of Colorado</li><li>CPR/BLS Certification</li><li>Prefer Pediatric or Primary Care clinical experience, immunization experience</li><li>Professional attitude and proactiveness to help team in all situations</li><li>The ability to think and function independently</li><li>Calm demeanor in stressful situations</li><li>Strong computer and communication skills are essential</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Disability insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
