Maintenance HandyMan - Hotel Hotel Engineer /Handyman Job DescriptionThink Outsourcing LLC is currently seeking a Hotel Maintenance Engineer to fill an available full-time position. The purpose of this position is to manage building systems and perform overall building maintenance and repairs. Candidates must be able to work in a hands-on team environment and provide exceptional guest service.<ul><li>Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.</li><li>Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.</li><li>Perform maintenance and repair work on the interior and exterior of the building, hotel rooms, and lighting, heating/air conditioning (HVAC) ventilation, water treatment systems.</li><li>Have basic knowledge of HVAC/ plumbing/ electrical and be able to perform troubleshooting.</li><li>Perform painting and plasterwork on the interior and exterior of the building and hotel rooms.</li><li>Responsible for fire brigade /Fire safety duties.</li><li>Conduct inspections, projects, and maintenance repairs maintain records.</li><li>Ensure the security of inventory such as tools, supplies, equipment, furniture, televisions, etc.</li><li>Preventive maintenance for building systems, rooms, and public spaces.</li><li>Repair as needed; HVAC systems, handy work, plumbing, plastering, etc.</li><li>Attend mandatory meetings and/or training as scheduled.</li><li>Performs any other duties and projects as requested by supervisor.</li><li>Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds and up to 30 ft in height.</li><li>Strong drywall skills</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>2+ years experience as a Handyman or maintenance position in a New York hotel preferred.</li><li>Must have a broad base of experience in several areas such as electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, preventive maintenance, painting/plastering.</li><li>Must have experience of 2+ years in painting and plasterwork.</li><li>Full availability is needed.</li></ul>BENEFITS are based on location:<ul><li>Holiday Pay</li><li>Vacation &amp; Sick Pay</li><li>Thanksgiving &amp; Christmas GIFT CARD</li><li>Birthday GIFT CARDS, etc</li><li>Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance</li></ul>Think Outsourcing LLC does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, height, weight, or marital status in employment or the provision of services and is an equal access, equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.Work Permit Needed: Applicants who do not already have legal permission to work in the United States will not be considered.
