Hands on assistance includes surgical procedures, post-operative care, wound care, sports medicine therapies, geriatric foot care, and dermatology of the foot and performing x-rays of the foot and ankle. You will also assist in patient education in home care and prevention along with education on shoes and orthopedic devices of the treatment plan.Requirements: 1yr. Commitment (required)Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree (preferred)Medical terminology 1 year (preferred)Electronic Medical Records systems 1 year (preferred)Experience in Customer Service 1-year (preferred)Essential Functions Perform initial assessment and evaluation of patient, document all patient procedures, results, and treatments.Accompany the physicians into the examination room, scribe, and enter relevant orders.Perform and/or assist in diagnostic imaging including radiographs, ultrasound and gait analysis.Aid with surgery and procedures including pre- and post-operative education, injections, draping, set up trays, and management of instruments.Perform routine, non-surgical treatments including shockwave therapy, MLS laser therapy, durable medical equipment fitting, strapping and tapings, removing sutures, applying casts and splints.Always provide excellent patient care and customer service.Contribute to the team atmosphere as a learning and enthusiastic member.Participate in clear, efficient communication with patients and family, other care providers and team members.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>On-the-job training</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>New Berlin, WI 53151: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
