Thomaston Counseling Center is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist that is able to work the TCC team and has experience working in an outpatient private practice. Must have their License completed as a LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Psychology, or Doctorate.We look and strive for the highest quality of providers with diverse backgrounds; as well as diverse credentials/certifications to treat their clients. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Clinician to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges in a hospital or clinical setting. You will work closely with patients, assisting them in their recovery journey while ensuring their safety and well-being. Your contributions will be vital in implementing treatment plans and fostering a supportive environment.Essential Requirements:<ul><li>Must be able to come to the office and see clients in person in Thomaston, CT.</li><li>Telehealth is only available as a backup option or at the client's request.</li><li>We are NOT accepting anything less than the licenses stated above at this time &amp; will be automatically rejected.</li><li>Work with in hours of the business needs but willing to work with provider.</li><li>W-2 pay- Waiting to be engages position as Part-Time and Per-Diem to cover providers when needed.</li></ul>Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients.</li><li>Monitor patient behavior and report any changes to the healthcare team.</li><li>Provide support during therapy sessions &amp; other therapeutic interventions.</li><li>Conduct medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers.</li><li>Engage patients in therapeutic activities that promote recovery and well-being.</li><li>Assist with behavior management techniques to ensure a safe environment.</li><li>Participate in case management discussions and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings.</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe environment for both patients and staff.</li><li>Use the EMR/EHR system, some administrative work or assist client in needed forms, complete clinical notes with in 24-48 hours of the appointment. Provider will receive training with EMR/EHR system as well have 24 hour access to the system and help.</li><li>Be able to communicate effectively to all clients, families, health care professionals, colleagues, or supervisor.</li><li>Understanding of medical documentation standards requirements, HIPAA compliance, &amp; ICD-10 coding.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices.</li><li>Familiarity with telehealth platforms and procedures.</li><li>Experience working in an outpatient private practice.</li><li>Proficiency in behavior management strategies.</li><li>Ability to apply Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques effectively.</li><li>Experience with child family counseling is a plus or dealing with family and children.</li><li>Experience with working with attorney's, DCF, court cases.</li><li>Certifications other than CBT</li></ul>Join us in making a difference in the lives of those we serve by providing compassionate care and support as a Mental Health Technician.
