The RoleThree M Tool &amp; Machine is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. We operate in a high-mix, low-volume environment where accuracy and technical depth are critical. You will be responsible for processing a wide variety of precision machined products, managing the details of multiple projects simultaneously for a diverse customer base.Responsibilities<ul><li>Technical Estimating: Design processes and calculate costs for new and repeat work. This includes reviewing blueprints, researching product history, and designing or assessing manufacturing processes.</li><li>Process Design: Formulate workflows that account for machining, assembly, quality requirements, outside processes and engineering specs.</li><li>System: Utilize Global Shop ERP software to calculate pricing and maintain organized communication channels and workflows.</li><li>Coordination: Work with the sales department to ensure quotes align with company strategy. Consult with clients, vendors, and internally to resolve technical issues or refine estimates.</li><li>Optimization: Evaluate and improve existing systems to ensure efficient handling of customer requirements and internal workflow.</li></ul>Technical Requirements<ul><li>Machining Expertise: In-depth knowledge of precision manufacturing principles and how processes work both on paper and on the shop floor.</li><li>Print Reading: Advanced ability to interpret complex technical drawings and material requirements.</li><li>Analytical Skills: Strong math and critical thinking skills with a high level of attention to detail.</li><li>Communication: Ability to provide clear technical feedback to both internal teams and external vendors/clients.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Proficiency with CAM software.</li><li>Prior experience in a job-shop or high-mix manufacturing environment.</li><li>Experience with full-featured ERP systems.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Do you give a sh*t?</li><li>Are you versatile?</li><li>Do you create solutions?</li><li>Do you like to have fun?</li></ul>Work Location: In person
