We provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and psychotherapy to adolescents and adults via telehealth and in-person services.Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and clinically confident Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our growing team as an independent contractor. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to grow within a supportive, forward-thinking practice.Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations</li><li>Diagnose and manage mental health conditions (DSM-5)</li><li>Provide medication management and follow-up care</li><li>Deliver brief psychotherapy (e.g., CBT, supportive therapy)</li><li>Develop individualized, holistic treatment plans</li><li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation (EHR)</li><li>Collaborate with supervising/collaborating physician (as required in Texas)</li><li>Ensure compliance with Texas state regulations and practice standards</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Active Texas and Connecticut APRN license</li><li>Board Certified PMHNP (PMHNP-BC)</li><li>Active DEA license (or willingness to obtain)</li><li>Prescriptive authority in Texas</li><li>Experience in outpatient psychiatry preferred</li><li>Comfortable with telehealth platforms</li><li>Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Structure<ul><li>1099 Independent Contractor position</li><li>Competitive pay per patient encounter (or revenue split model)</li><li>Flexible schedule (set your own availability)</li><li>High reimbursement insurance panels available (if applicable)</li><li>Administrative and billing support provided</li><li>Must maintain a collaborative agreement with a supervising physician in accordance with Texas law</li><li>Responsible for maintaining professional liability insurance</li><li>Must comply with all state and federal prescribing regulations</li></ul>How to ApplyInterested candidates should submit:<ul><li>Resume/CV</li><li>Active licenses and certifications</li><li>Brief statement of clinical approach</li></ul>Email: info@thrivenminds.com Phone: 469-722-5750Pay: From $85.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Continuing education credits</li><li>Professional development assistance</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Houston, TX 77036
