We provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and psychotherapy to adolescents and adults via telehealth and in-person services.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and clinically confident Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our growing team as an independent contractor. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to grow within a supportive, forward-thinking practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
• Diagnose and manage mental health conditions (DSM-5)
• Provide medication management and follow-up care
• Deliver brief psychotherapy (e.g., CBT, supportive therapy)
• Develop individualized, holistic treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation (EHR)
• Collaborate with supervising/collaborating physician (as required in Texas)
• Ensure compliance with Texas state regulations and practice standards

Qualifications

• Active Texas and Connecticut APRN license
• Board Certified PMHNP (PMHNP-BC)
• Active DEA license (or willingness to obtain)
• Prescriptive authority in Texas
• Experience in outpatient psychiatry preferred
• Comfortable with telehealth platforms
• Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills

Compensation & Structure

• 1099 Independent Contractor position
• Competitive pay per patient encounter (or revenue split model)
• Flexible schedule (set your own availability)
• High reimbursement insurance panels available (if applicable)
• Administrative and billing support provided
• Must maintain a collaborative agreement with a supervising physician in accordance with Texas law
• Responsible for maintaining professional liability insurance
• Must comply with all state and federal prescribing regulations
