Our mission is to empower people to live their best lives through meaningful support, dignity, and inclusion.Position Overview We are seeking compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) / Caregivers to join our team in Juneau, Alaska. This role involves providing direct care services and supporting the day-to-day needs of individuals in their homes and community. Successful candidates bring positive energy, strong communication skills, and a can-do attitude.Responsibilities As a DSP, you will:<ul><li>Provide assistance with daily living needs such as personal hygiene, self-care, meal preparation, and medication administration.</li><li>Support individuals with household needs including cleaning, shopping, transportation, and running errands.</li><li>Promote community inclusion by accompanying and supporting individuals in community activities and appointments.</li><li>Encourage independence while offering companionship and emotional support.</li><li>Provide job coaching or on-the-job assistance as needed, including accessibility and accommodation support.</li><li>Help maintain a safe, supportive, and positive home environment.</li></ul>Desirable Skills:<ul><li>Experience or passion for supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.</li><li>Strong communication skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to work as part of a team while demonstrating initiative and leadership.</li><li>Must meet State of Alaska background check requirements.</li><li>Valid Alaska driver&rsquo;s license and reliable vehicle.</li><li>Ability to provide personal and professional references.</li></ul>Job Details<ul><li>Status: Part Time, x1-2 24-Hour shifts per week.</li><li>Schedule: 24-Hour shifts on Sundays.</li><li>Compensation &amp; Benefits: Paid time off, paid holidays, flexible scheduling</li></ul>Why Join TIDES?
