Position Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) / Caregivers to join our team in Juneau, Alaska. This role involves providing direct care services and supporting the day-to-day needs of individuals in their homes and community. We are seeking a male to fill this position.

Responsibilities
As a DSP, you will:

• Provide assistance with daily living needs such as personal hygiene, self-care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
• Support individuals with household needs including cleaning, shopping, transportation, and running errands.
• Promote community inclusion by accompanying and supporting individuals in community activities and appointments.
• Encourage independence while offering companionship and emotional support.
• Provide job coaching or on-the-job assistance as needed, including accessibility and accommodation support.
• Help maintain a safe, supportive, and positive home environment.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience or passion for supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work as part of a team while demonstrating initiative and leadership.
• Must meet State of Alaska background check requirements.
• Valid Alaska driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to provide personal and professional references.

Job Details

• Status: Part Time, x1-2 24-Hour shifts per week.
• Schedule: 24-Hour shifts on Sundays.
• Compensation & Benefits: Paid time off, paid holidays, flexible scheduling
