Job Overview We're hiring Account Managers to help us scale a fast-growing digital marketing agency. This role is for a digital marketing generalist who presents well on calls, has strong judgment, and can run client campaigns using our SOP-driven, AI-assisted delivery system.We strongly prefer candidates with 5+ years of experience as a client-facing Account Manager / Client Success Manager at a digital marketing agency (or similar). Our delivery system relies heavily on AI, so Account Managers must be highly proficient with large language models.You should:<ul><li>Use AI daily as part of your work (not &quot;occasionally&quot;)</li><li>Be confident writing prompts, iterating quickly, and getting reliable outputs</li><li>Understand how to QA AI-generated work for accuracy, tone, and business relevance</li><li>Stay current on new AI tools and workflows on your own</li><li>Genuinely value prompting and AI workflow design as a real professional skill</li></ul>E-COMMERCE AND SHOPIFY EXPERIENCE (NON-NEGOTIABLE)We work with e-commerce clients, and you need to be comfortable in that world. This doesn't mean you need to be a developer, but you do need to know your way around Shopify and understand how e-commerce brands think about marketing.You should:<ul><li>Have hands-on experience doing marketing or account management for e-commerce brands</li><li>Know how to find what you're looking for in Shopify (products, pages, collections, analytics, apps, theme editor)</li><li>Understand how e-commerce businesses measure performance (conversion rate, AOV, ROAS, traffic by channel)</li><li>Be able to have a credible strategic conversation with an e-commerce client about their goals</li></ul>You may also work with WordPress sites and other platforms, but Shopify familiarity is a baseline requirement for this role.WHAT YOU NEED EXPERIENCE WITH (NON-NEGOTIABLES)You don't need to be a veteran marketer, but you do need the fundamentals:<ul><li>Some experience in digital marketing (agency, in-house, or freelance/contractor work) and an interest in learning more</li><li>Comfort with basic SEO concepts and how websites drive leads</li><li>Ability to log into WordPress and make updates (pages, menus, basic formatting, plugins as needed)</li><li>Working knowledge of Shopify at the account manager level (navigation, content management, basic analytics)</li><li>Strong judgment about what matters for a business (prioritization, messaging, offers, conversion basics)</li></ul>EXPERIENCE WE STRONGLY PREFER (NICE-TO-HAVES)<ul><li>5+ years as an Account Manager / Client Success Manager at a digital marketing agency</li><li>Agency experience or experience managing your own clients as a contractor/freelancer</li><li>Familiarity with e-commerce brands (DTC, retail, consumer goods) and their marketing priorities</li><li>Familiarity with service businesses (home services, healthcare, trades, education, etc.)</li><li>Comfort coordinating across specialists (design, web dev, technical SEO)</li><li>Experience managing projects, timelines, and deliverables</li></ul>WHAT THE JOB ACTUALLY IS (DAY TO DAY)Account Managers here run the campaign. This gives you time to learn our SOPs and systems, and gives us time to ensure the role is a great long-term fit.
