CNC Machinist Job DescriptionJob Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings. The CNC Machinist will play a critical role in ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.Duties<ul><li>Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications and production schedules.</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to determine machining requirements.</li><li>Utilize hand tools, micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments to ensure precision in machining processes.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.</li><li>Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve overall efficiency.</li><li>Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proficiency with setup, running, and making machine-side adjustments for CNC machines (required).</li><li>The ideal candidate would have experience milling and turning.</li><li>Strong understanding of blueprint reading and technical documentation.</li><li>Ability to perform basic math calculations relevant to machining tasks.</li><li>Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices to streamline operations.</li><li>Competency in using hand tools, micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring devices.</li></ul>Join our team as a CNC Machinist where your skills will contribute significantly to our manufacturing excellence!Job Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li></ul>Work Location: In person
