Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings. The CNC Machinist will play a critical role in ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
Duties
- Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications and production schedules.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to determine machining requirements.
- Utilize hand tools, micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments to ensure precision in machining processes.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
Skills
- Proficiency with setup, running, and making machine-side adjustments for CNC machines (required).
- The ideal candidate would have experience milling and turning.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and technical documentation.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations relevant to machining tasks.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices to streamline operations.
- Competency in using hand tools, micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring devices.
