The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pediatric dentistry and dental assisting, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support our dentists in providing high-quality dental services tailored to pediatric patients.Duties<ul><li>Assist dentists during various pediatric dental procedures, including chairside assisting and imaging.</li><li>Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.</li><li>Take and develop X-rays, ensuring accurate positioning and patient safety.</li><li>Manage patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Educate young patients and their guardians on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience as a dental assistant in a pediatric or general dentistry setting.</li><li>Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control standards within dental clinics.</li><li>Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to pediatric dentistry.</li><li>Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
