Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our team at two locations, in Loveland and Fort Collins. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pediatric dentistry and dental assisting, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support our dentists in providing high-quality dental services tailored to pediatric patients.

Duties

• Assist dentists during various pediatric dental procedures, including chairside assisting and imaging.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
• Take and develop X-rays, ensuring accurate positioning and patient safety.
• Manage patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Educate young patients and their guardians on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a dental assistant in a pediatric or general dentistry setting.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control standards within dental clinics.
• Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to pediatric dentistry.
• Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
