Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Boat Fiberglass Technician to join our marine service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fiberglass repair, lamination, gelcoat finishing, and structural restoration of boats and yachts. This position requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform fiberglass lay-up, lamination, and repair on various boat hulls, decks, and structural components.</li><li>Repair and refinish damaged gelcoat surfaces, matching color and texture precisely.</li><li>Conduct inspections to assess structural integrity and identify areas requiring repair.</li><li>Mix resins, hardeners, and other materials according to specified formulas.</li><li>Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.</li><li>Perform sanding, polishing, and finishing to achieve high-quality surface results.</li><li>Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and repair instructions.</li><li>Ensure all work meets company and industry safety and quality standards.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.</li><li>Collaborate with other technicians, painters, and mechanics as needed to complete projects on time.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Requirements:<ul><li>Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in fiberglass boat repair or marine composite work.</li><li>Strong understanding of fiberglass materials, resins, and gelcoat systems.</li><li>Proven ability to perform structural and cosmetic repairs to a professional standard.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li><li>Physical capability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and sanding.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.</li><li>Familiarity with marine safety standards and repair procedures.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in composite or marine repair is an asset.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
