Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Teacher / Lead Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic educational environment. Paid positions are available for both entry-level and experienced educators eager to make a meaningful impact on children's lives.Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that support early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills</li><li>Create a welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and positive behavior management</li><li>Plan and execute engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning needs, including special education and early intervention strategies</li><li>Support children&rsquo;s developmental milestones by observing progress and providing individualized guidance</li><li>Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians regarding children&rsquo;s progress, behavior, and classroom activities</li><li>Manage daily classroom routines, including transitions, meal times, nap schedules, and safety protocols</li><li>Collaborate with team members to develop classroom activities that promote inclusive learning experiences for all children</li><li>Ensure compliance with childcare regulations, standardized testing requirements, and health &amp; safety standards</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices</li><li>Experience with curriculum development across various subjects such as literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods</li><li>Proven ability to work effectively with children of different ages, including toddlers and preschoolers</li><li>Expertise in classroom management techniques to foster a positive learning environment</li><li>Familiarity with special education needs and early intervention strategies to support diverse learners</li><li>Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members</li><li>Ability to plan lessons that incorporate innovative teaching methods like tutoring or hands-on activities</li><li>Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood programs</li><li>Experience in daycare or private school settings is preferred</li><li>Passion for child welfare, childcare excellence, and promoting healthy emotional development</li></ul>Assistant Teacher - Minimum High School Diploma and minimum 1 year proven experienceLead Teacher - MSDE Qualifications (including 90 hours) and minimum 1 year proven experience.Join us in creating an inspiring space where young minds thrive!
