We are a growing accounting and bookkeeping firm seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to support our team and clients. This role is ideal for someone with strong QuickBooks Online experience who enjoys working with multiple clients, preparing financial reports, and helping guide junior staff.This position is primarily remote, but candidates must be located in Central Florida for occasional in-person team or client meetings.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform month-end close for multiple client accounts</li><li>Prepare and review financial statements</li><li>Record and review journal entries (accruals, prepaids, adjustments)</li><li>Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations</li><li>Assist with client onboarding and accounting cleanup projects</li><li>Support and answer accounting questions for junior bookkeepers</li><li>Meet with clients to review financials and provide accounting guidance</li><li>Ensure work is completed in accordance with GAAP and accounting best practices</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>3&ndash;5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience</li><li>Strong experience with QuickBooks Online</li><li>Solid understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles</li><li>Experience with month-end close and financial reporting</li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills</li><li>Highly organized and detail-oriented</li><li>Self-motivated and able to manage multiple clients</li></ul>Preferred<ul><li>Accounting degree or relevant accounting coursework</li><li>Experience working in an accounting or bookkeeping firm</li><li>Experience reviewing or overseeing work performed by others</li></ul>Work Environment<ul><li>Hybrid role (primarily remote)</li><li>Must be located in Central Florida</li><li>Must have:</li><li>Dedicated home office workspace</li><li>Reliable internet connection</li><li>Personal computer equipment</li></ul>If you're a motivated accounting professional who enjoys working with clients and helping businesses stay financially organized, we'd love to hear from you.Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Paid training</li><li>Work from home</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Accounting: 3 years (Required)</li><li>QuickBooks: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Winter Garden, FL 34787 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Winter Garden, FL 34787
