Bookkeeper

Full Job Description:

Top Marks Accounting delivers comprehensive bookkeeping services to small and mid-sized businesses. We are looking for a skilled and detail-focused Bookkeeper with QuickBooks Online experience. The ideal candidate is proactive, professional, and communicates well with clients.

This position is primarily remote but will require occasional in-person meetings. Applicants must be located in the Orlando area.

Both part-time and full-time roles are available.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing accounts payable
• Managing accounts receivable
• Completing account and bank reconciliations
• Processing payroll
• Preparing financial statements and reports
• Handling sales tax filings
• Supporting customer and client communication

Qualifications:

• Excellent organizational abilities and strong communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience
• Experience using QuickBooks Online is required
• QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
• Strong understanding of GAAP, including both accrual and cash accounting methods
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong math skills and comfort working with numbers
• Capable of working independently
• Reliable transportation required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
