BOOKKEEPER — EARTHDANCE ORGANICS Part-Time | Landscape Maintenance & Agricultural Sales | Pacific Northwest
About Earthdance Organics
Earthdance Organics is a Washington State business operating across two distinct lines: landscape maintenance services and retail/wholesale sales of organic soil amendments. We're a hands-on, values-driven company that takes our work seriously — and we need a bookkeeper who does too.
The Role
This is a working bookkeeper position managing the financials across two business entities with different revenue types — service-based landscape maintenance and product-based soil amendment sales. You'll handle significant credit card volume, Washington State sales tax across both service and product categories, and payroll for field staff. No AP management required.
What You'll Be Doing
- Full-cycle bookkeeping across multiple company entities in QuickBooks Online
- Heavy credit card reconciliation across both businesses
- Washington State sales tax compliance — including the distinction between taxable product sales and service work
- Payroll processing for landscape maintenance crews and staff
- Customer invoicing via Xero and GoDaddy
- Maintaining clean, audit-ready records across both entities
- Supporting financial reporting and period-end close
Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Experience with Xero and GoDaddy for invoicing
- Washington State sales tax experience, ideally across both products and services
- Multi-company accounting managing books for more than one entity simultaneously
- Heavy credit card reconciliation experience
- Payroll processing experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Service Autopilot experience (used for landscape job management and scheduling)
- Experience in landscape, agricultural, or trades-based businesses
- Familiarity with both service revenue and product/inventory sales in the same bookkeeping environment
You're the Right Fit If You...
- Understand the difference between how a maintenance job and a product sale hit the books
- Can keep two sets of books clean and current without things bleeding together
- Work well independently in a small business environment
- Speak up when something doesn't reconcile
Compensation & Details
- Part-time, flexible hours
- Compensation commensurate with experience
