We install, maintain, and repair a wide range of refrigeration systems and commercial cooking equipment to keep professional kitchens running smoothly.Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC/R &ndash; Commercial Kitchen Appliance Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial refrigeration units and kitchen equipment, including walk-in coolers/freezers, ice machines, ovens, fryers, grills, steamers, etc.You will work independently in the field, provide excellent customer service, and ensure equipment is repaired efficiently and safely.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration equipment (reach-ins, walk-ins, under-counter units, ice machines, etc.)</li><li>Troubleshoot and service commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, ranges, dish machines, etc.)</li><li>Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and equipment testing</li><li>Detect refrigerant leaks, replace components, and recharge systems</li><li>Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams</li><li>Document service work, parts usage, and recommendations</li><li>Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members</li><li>Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in good working order</li><li>Follow all safety and EPA guidelines and company procedures</li><li>Participate in on-call rotation as needed</li></ul>QualificationsRequired:<ul><li>2+ years experience in commercial HVAC/R or commercial kitchen equipment repair</li><li>Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical repair</li><li>EPA 608 Certification</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and clean driving record</li><li>Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying environments (hot kitchens, cold walk-ins, tight spaces)</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail</li><li>Excellent customer-service and communication skills</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>Manufacturer certifications for major commercial kitchen equipment brands (Hoshizaki, True, Vulcan, Rational, etc.)</li><li>Experience with gas cooking equipment repair</li><li>HVAC trade school or equivalent technical training</li><li>Experience with hot-side &amp; cold-side equipment</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From $48,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
