We are a premier Beauty School looking for exceptional team members with drive and passion for success.**Job Summary:**We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support, filing documents, managing calendars &amp; appts, and ensuring efficient organizational operations while working independently. This role requires strong clerical skills and experience in data entry tasks.**Responsibilities:**<ul><li>must work effectively independently</li><li>Manage office/retail supplies inventory</li><li>Perform receptionist duties: greet visitors, and answer and directing phone calls</li><li>Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries, and manage outgoing mail</li><li>Create/ maintain student accounts after registration</li><li>Identify opportunities for process and school management improvements</li><li>maintain secure files to keep track of important documents</li><li>Provide other administrative support as necessary, including scheduling team meetings, maintaining calendars, answering emails, salon support, and creating reports for the school and partnering agencies</li><li>Maintaining common area cleanliness such as staff lavatory, salon common areas, laundry room, hallways and lobby when needed</li></ul>**Experience:**<ul><li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, associate's degree preferred</li><li>1-3 years of relevant experience in an office setting, preferably in an administrative or clerical role</li><li>Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and comfortable working independently</li><li>Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including strong spelling, grammar, and punctuation</li><li>Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Proficient computer skills and ability to operate general office equipment</li><li>Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe and Google products</li></ul>PROFESSIONAL REFERENCES REQUIRED and will be contacted.Job Type: Part-timePay: $16.50 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li></ul>Work Location: In person
