Position Summary</b></p><p>
The District Sales Manager serves as the primary driver for <b>market expansion</b> and sales growth for TOTO within the North Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas territory. This role is responsible for cultivating and supporting distribution channels&mdash;including wholesalers, showrooms, architects, designers, engineers, and mechanical contractors&mdash;while overseeing local representative agencies. The incumbent will build and maintain high-level relationships with industry stakeholders to promote TOTO&rsquo;s premium product portfolio and ensure brand excellence.</p><p><b>
Essential Functions</b></p><ul><li><b>
Business Development:</b> Identify and evaluate new distribution opportunities while expanding sales by fostering strong relationships with architects, contractors, and luxury kitchen/bath dealers.</li><li><b>
Sales Network Performance:</b> Train, mentor, and provide ongoing support to distribution partners to maintain a high-performing sales network. Direct local representative agencies to ensure the consistent achievement of regional KPI goals.</li><li><b>
Specification Management:</b> Generate and track leads for medium- to large-scale construction projects across the Hospitality, Commercial Office, Builder, and Higher Education sectors.</li><li><b>
Technical Support &amp; Education:</b> Conduct product demonstrations, &quot;Lunch &amp; Learn&quot; sessions, and technical training at showrooms, wholesaler sites, and contractor offices.</li><li><b>
Data &amp; Analytics:</b> Utilize SAP CRM and Salesforce for reporting and Tableau to analyze regional sales data, identify emerging market trends, and optimize sales strategies.</li><li><b>
Customer Support:</b> Proactively investigate and resolve product or service concerns to foster long-term brand loyalty and customer satisfaction.</li><li><b>
Showroom Management:</b> Partner with showrooms on product displays, pricing, and merchandising to ensure brand standards are consistently upheld.</li></ul><p><b>
Supervisory Responsibility</b></p><ul><li>
Direct the activities of local representative agencies and/or junior sales staff.</li><li>
Monitor performance, provide coaching, and ensure full compliance with TOTO policies and regulatory requirements.</li></ul><p><b>
Education and Experience Requirements</b></p><ul><li><b>
Education:</b> Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.</li><li><b>
Experience:</b> Minimum of five (5) years of industry-related experience (decorative plumbing or construction-related).</li><li><b>
Local Market Knowledge:</b> In-depth knowledge of the North Texas building landscape and established relationships within the local wholesaler and design community.</li><li><b>
Technical Skills:</b> Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required; fluency in SAP CRM, Salesforce, and Tableau is preferred.</li></ul><p><b>
Work Requirements</b></p><ul><li><b>
Location:</b> Must reside within the Dallas/Ft. Worth metropolitan area.</li><li><b>
Travel:</b> This is a field-based role requiring frequent travel throughout the territory, including overnight stays and occasional travel for tradeshows and corporate meetings.</li><li><b>
Physical:</b> Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (samples/equipment) and perform site visits involving walking, standing, and navigating construction environments.</li></ul><p><b>
