The Town of Topsail Beach Public Works Department is accepting applications for the position of Solid Waste Grounds Specialist. (one regular part-time and one seasonal part-time) As a Grounds Specialist, you will play a vital role in keeping Topsail Beach a clean, safe, and beautiful place for residents and visitors alike. An employee in this position performs responsible manual labor in support of the Town&rsquo;s solid waste and recycling cart rollback service. Position is responsible for returning residential trash and recycling carts from the curb to their designated storage locations following collection.This part-time position is scheduled for up to 20 hours per week. An employee in this class must be able to work 10-hour shifts on Mondays and Thursdays from May through September aligned with solid waste collection schedules. Shifts from October through April will vary to meet the needs of the Town. Work is performed under the supervision of the Public Works Superintendent.
