 An Elevators Service Sales Engineer is responsible for promoting, selling, and supporting service contracts-including maintenance, repair, and modernization -for elevators and escalators. The role combines technical expertise with sales acumen, requiring close collaboration with clients and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful Service / project delivery.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 1) Promote and sell service contracts for elevators and escalators, including annual maintenance, Repairs, and modernization.
 
 
 2) Ensure to follow up on AMC renewals, convert free service contracts, recover lost units, and acquire new third-party equipment.
 
 
 3) Identify and develop new business opportunities within the elevators service market.
 
 
 4) Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure high client satisfaction and retention.
 
 
 5) Prepare and deliver service sales presentations and proposals to customers, explaining service offerings and technical details.
 
 
 6) Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions.
 
 
 7) Prepare, negotiate, and submit service sales contracts and ensure alignment with company policies and guidelines.
 
 
 8) Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
 
 
 9) Maintain accurate records of customer communications, sales activities, and service contracts in the CRM system.
 
 
 10) Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the profitability of the service business.
 
 
 11) Ensure compliance with company values, processes, and safety standards.

 Job Description:
 
 
 <ul>

 Contribute to the Operational and Fraud Risk Management framework by supporting risk identification, conducting risk assessments and fraud investigations, monitoring risks, reviewing internal controls and assisting in reporting and mitigation of operational and fraud risks.

 Support risk identification, assessment and monitoring across business units.
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyze operational processes to identify control gaps and recommend improvements.

 Conduct Risk and Control Assessments and assist in managing operational risk events and incidents.

 Review and investigate suspicious cases reported via internal channels, whistle-blower hotlines, or referrals from departments to ensure timely detection and mitigation of fraud.

 <li>
 Examine documentation and transactions to identify discrepancies, forgeries and early indicators of fraud.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct preliminary and detailed fraud investigations, implementing preventive measures and advising on strategies to reduce financial exposure.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor key data and transactions using advanced tools and dashboards to detect, visualize, and prevent fraudulent activity in an actionable manner.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain and analyze a fraud case register and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to monitor trends and emerging threats.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and present reports and dashboards for senior management and regulators, providing actionable insights for decision-making.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain incident register to log all reported incidents, monitoring progress and escalating as required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create and present dashboards summarizing key ops risks and mitigation efforts to internal stakeholders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate records and documentation to support regulatory audits and internal reviews.

 <li>
 Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory bodies, such as the Central Bank, summarizing trends and incidents.

 Collaborate with the Legal and Compliance team, Quality, Internal Audit, Medical Audit teams police and external agencies to manage fraud and Ops risk incidents effectively.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets from various internal systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and deliver routine (daily, weekly, monthly) reports based on business needs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Build and maintain automated dashboards and performance tracking tools using Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify trends, anomalies, and process improvement opportunities through data analysis.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Pricing, IT, Underwriting, Claims, Finance) to address reporting requirements.

 Enhance existing MIS systems and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and efficiency.

 Provide ad-hoc analysis and actionable insights to support management decision-making.

 Skills:

 Qualified accountant or good progress towards qualification or

 Professional certification in Risk Management such as IRM Certificate, FRM etc or

 Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) Qualified or Good progress

 Minimum 5 years of professional experience, primarily in Operational Risk Management, preferably within financial services with exposure to audit, investigations or analytical roles.

 Solid quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, attention to detail and strong excel skills.

 3.RCSA Process (excluding control testing):

 Conduct Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) in co-ordination with Operational Units to assess adequacy of risk identification and assessment and evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls.

 Facilitate workshops and meetings with specific Operational Units, in the role of a SPOC, to gather information and assess risks.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 4.Control Testing:

 Conduct control testing per the defined control program for Operational Units

 Document test results and identify control deficiencies or areas for improvement.

 Work with control owners to develop and implement remediation plans for identified deficiencies.

 5.Key Risk Indicators: Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of KRIs, KRI breaches and any related actions.
 
 
 6.Challenge and monitor corrective action plans, ensuring timely resolution and escalation as needed.
 
 
 7.Incident Reporting:

 Review and challenge incidents submitted by the Operational Units for quality and Operational Risk policy alignment.
