This key position requires a natural collaborator who can partner with internal teams, including innovation, outreach, sales, retail, and distribution, to ensure each team's voice is reflected in our communications.The ideal candidate is a strategic, forward-thinking individual passionate about digital media and marketing communications. This individual will lead all marketing projects, to include the ideation, creation, and execution of marketing content, with the internal marketing department resources, along with working closely with supplier partners and third-party organizations in helping to drive the business. The type of content being created for their promotions will include, but is not limited to, campaign copywriting, promotional copy, newsletters, graphic design, social media assets, customer database communication, etc.Specific Responsibilities:<ul><li>Management and execution of monthly and quarterly marketing efforts to drive the plan (including media planning), and validating/communicating marketing plans to sales outcome</li><li>Partner with the COO and Store Managers to develop campaign strategies tied to revenue</li><li>Manage relationships with vendors to coordinate in store representation with overall strategy </li><li>Oversee merchandising efforts in partner stores, including print collateral production and distribution. Website look and information that is on brand, compliant, and timely as well as social media oversight</li><li>Launch new products in the market and closely monitor revenue and feedback with executive team  </li><li>Partner with the branding teams to localize the brand strategy</li><li>Partner with PR partners and compliance teams to develop and execute campaigns in a timely fashion</li><li>Partner with the COO and Store Managers to monitor success and make real-time adjustments</li><li>Partner cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and sales to create plans tied to revenue, including promotional strategies</li><li>Partner with the compliance team to oversee consumer-facing marketing materials and ensure their compliance with the state before campaign rollout</li><li>Contribute to marketing leadership with market insights and executional ideas</li><li>Live the brand and be an example of Tree of Life leadership in the market</li><li>Feedback on branding, strategy and store efforts compared to other stores in the same market </li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Minimum 3-5 years of experience with in-market execution</li><li>Minimum 2 years of experience in the cannabis market</li><li>Experience creating and communicating marketing strategy/plans, as well as coordinating and directing marketing efforts</li><li>Experience working within a cross-functional marketing team (cross-functional team leadership experience preferred)</li><li>Minimum 2 years of experience owning marketing efforts tied to revenue goals</li><li>Minimum 2 years of experience managing marketing campaigns</li><li>Experience launching a product in the market</li><li>Experience with revenue planning, partnering with sales and other revenue-generating functions</li><li>Preferred &ndash; media buying and PR experience</li><li>Preferred &ndash; merchandising experience</li><li>Preferred &ndash; experience in a highly regulated industry</li><li>Subject to a background check per state cannabis regulations</li></ul>Employment is at-will and terminable by the employer or employee at any time, with or without cause, and with or without prior notice.
