The Social Media Marketing Intern fulfills several important functions as part of the Marketing &amp; Communications Team by primarily writing, proofing, and strategizing outgoing email and social media communication to the company&rsquo;s various audiences, monitoring social media, and company websites. Must be able to engage with customers in English or Spanish. The following is preferred but not required:<ul><li>Experience in Content Marketing, Social Media / Social Advertising, Campaign Development, Email Marketing, SMS / Text Marketing, Ad Copy / Copywriting</li><li>Superior writing, proofreading, and editing skills</li><li>Excellent verbal communication skills</li><li>Experience using popular social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to develop a variety of tones to connect with different audiences</li><li>Proficient with Google Suite, Google Analytics, and Apple products</li><li>Photoshop and Illustrator experience preferred</li><li>Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within digital marketing &amp; communications</li><li>Experience with SEO, PR, Reputation Management,</li><li>Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.</li><li>Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.</li><li>Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.</li><li>Confident, self-starter who works well independently.</li><li>Professional phone etiquette.</li><li>Career minded vision.</li></ul>This position is not remote currently, expect to be on-site 20 hours per week. The internship will have an initial period of 2 weeks with the option to extend depending on performance after review. Flexible schedule available for candidates who are currently in school, a letter of recommendation can be provided if needed for college classes. We will provide equipment to create and post content.
