Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual for a Non CDL Driving Position. This role involves operating flatbed trucks and other delivery vehicles to transport steel products to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer service, ensuring that deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition. This position requires physical stamina for heavy lifting and moving, as well as a focus on safety.Responsibilities<ul><li>Operate trucks and other vehicles for deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations</li><li>Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage</li><li>Navigate delivery routes efficiently to meet customer timelines</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally</li><li>Load vehicle to prepare for delivery routes and help with warehouse work as needed.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including documentation of any issues encountered</li><li>Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation</li><li>Assist in warehouse tasks as needed, including inventory management and organization</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction</li><li>Previous warehouse experience is preferred</li><li>Experience in commercial driving, particularly with box trucks or similar vehicles</li><li>Familiarity with delivery driver responsibilities and route driving techniques</li><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks regularly</li><li>Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus</li><li>Comfortable driving manual transmission vehicles if required</li><li>Previous experience as a courier is advantageous</li></ul>This Non CDL Driving Position offers an opportunity to join a dynamic team committed to delivering quality service.
