Non CDL Driving Position

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual for a Non CDL Driving Position. This role involves operating flatbed trucks and other delivery vehicles to transport steel products to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer service, ensuring that deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition. This position requires physical stamina for heavy lifting and moving, as well as a focus on safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks and other vehicles for deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
• Navigate delivery routes efficiently to meet customer timelines
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally
• Load vehicle to prepare for delivery routes and help with warehouse work as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including documentation of any issues encountered
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation
• Assist in warehouse tasks as needed, including inventory management and organization

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred
• Experience in commercial driving, particularly with box trucks or similar vehicles
• Familiarity with delivery driver responsibilities and route driving techniques
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks regularly
• Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus
• Comfortable driving manual transmission vehicles if required
• Previous experience as a courier is advantageous
