In this pivotal role, you will oversee the procurement process and coordinate the receipt of materials and goods to ensure seamless operations. Your expertise will drive efficiency, cost savings, and quality assurance across our procurement activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where proactive sourcing, contract management, and supply chain coordination are vital for success.Responsibilities<ul><li>Procurement Expediting</li><li>Track all open purchase orders for material status, shipment dates, and delivery commitments.</li><li>Communicate proactively with internal procurement team to confirm expected delivery schedules.</li></ul>Receiving &amp; Material Verification<ul><li>Manage the physical receiving of goods and materials in accordance with purchase orders.</li><li>Verify part numbers, quantities, and condition of incoming materials; escalate discrepancies or damages.</li><li>Coordinate with Quality Control for inspection of critical or high-risk components.</li><li>Ensure accurate entry of received goods into the ERP system and proper inventory labeling.</li><li>Generate receiving documentation and support 3-way match resolution (PO&ndash;Receipt&ndash;Invoice).</li><li>Hand-over of material to warehouse for put-away.</li></ul>Supplier &amp; Internal Collaboration<ul><li>Support Procurement in supplier performance reporting (on-time delivery, accuracy, responsiveness).</li><li>Contribute to continuous improvement of the inbound material flow process.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.</li><li>Strong sense of ownership and accountability for on-time delivery.</li><li>Collaborative problem solver; effective communicator across departments.</li><li>Process-driven mindset with commitment to continuous improvement.</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.</li><li>Experience working with federal acquisition regulations (FAR) is a plus.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with a focus on negotiation and stakeholder engagement to foster productive supplier relationships.
